the learning journey

basic movements

Students learn basic movement patterns that the body is naturally capable of. these movements include front & back rolls and how to fall safely. This prepares them for more physically-demanding situations that they may face on or off the mats.

game-based adaptation

To ease our students into the complexity of grappling, we put them through challenging but fun activities that simulate many grappling situations. These include games and exercises that many of our students enjoy.

skills & application

During this phase, students learn grappling techniques for both standing and ground situations. using jiu-jitsu, our juniors learn how to control opponents safely on their feet & on the ground.
